In response to the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 16th March, we have decided that it is right to cancel all meetings and gatherings associated with Sudbourne & Tunstall Baptist Church until further notice. The only exception at this stage is the main Prayer Meeting which will be taking place at Tunstall Chapel Tuesday evening (17th March) at 7:45 pm.
All other meetings, including Ladies’ Fellowship, Coffee, Craft & Chat / Tunstall Tots and Toddlers, Ladies’ Easter Craft Evening, Friday Club, Youth Group and Sudbourne Coffee Mornings will not be taking place.
We will not be holding our normal Sunday Services until further notice, but we are currently working towards a web based live stream of our Sunday Morning Service which we are hoping you will be able to access via our Facebook Page and Youtube this coming Sunday. We will send out more details on this nearer the end of the week. Please make every effort to join in for this “virtual service”, it won’t be the same as meeting together in person, but it will help us to stay together while the current restrictions are in place.
During this time of increased isolation, please:
– Do make every effort to stay in touch with each other,
– Share prayer requests, either via Home groups, directly with others or to Pastor Dave (firstname.lastname@example.org)
– Let Pastor Dave (email@example.com) know if you have any particular needs of practical help that we may be able to assist with, and
– Keep an eye out for those around you who might be in need.
Clearly this is a moving situation and there will be many developments. We will be trying to take onboard any more guidance and instruction as it becomes available and will inform you of any changes that we think necessary.
Please do be much in prayer for our government at this time and pray most of all that the work of the gospel won’t be hindered by this situation, rather perhaps that we might discover more opportunities to live out our faith as a result of what we are going through, and that through our lives, Jesus may be glorified..
Thank you and God bless you all
