Events and Activities Listings:

We are an active church always striving to reach out into the community and we carry out many activities and events both within the churches and within the community.

2012 Events Listing:

 

Our annual Holiday Bible Club will be held on the afternoons of 10th-11th-12th and 13th of April at Tunstall Baptist Chapel. A week of fun, bible stories, games, sketches songs for children of primary school age. Click here for pictures of last years fun!

 

On Saturday 19th May we'll be having our annual treasure hunt, this year around Orford, and to be followed by a richly deserved meal. Lots of cunning and subtle clues, red herrings  and good food!

 

On Saturday 30th June we'll be arranging a Sponsored Walk, raising money for the East Anglian Children's Hospice (EACH). Area and time to be confirmed.

 

We'll be holding our annual Open Air Service (hopefully in glorious weather!) in front of Orford  Castle with help and accompaniment from our friends at the Felixstowe Salvation Army brass band. At 3:30pm on 22nd July.

 

 

we'll be holding a Harvest Supper (another excuse to eat lots of lovely food basically!) on Saturday 22nd September and Harvest Thanksgiving Services on the Sunday 7th October  [Click HERE for details of past Harvest events]

 

 

Our second Songs of Praise of 2012 will be on Sunday 21st October, 6:30pm where we were  joined by our special guests and friends: "The Masson Family" from Saxlingham, Norfolk. [Click HERE for more details of last years evening]

 

  We'll hopefully be holding our second Quiz Evening of the year on Saturday 10th November. Lots of trivia, questions, food but hopefully no cheating!

 We held a couple of events around Mothers Day, a special Friday Club Mothers Day evening on Friday 16th March and a special Mothers Day Service on Sunday 18th March. Click here for more information. 

 

We held our first Songs of Praise service of 2012 on Sunday 4th March, where we were joined by our special guests and regular visitors the "Felixstowe Salvation Army Songsters". Click here for more information. 

 

We've had our annual ten-pin bowling and meal evening at Tunstall Chapel on Saturday 11th February.

 

Our first Quiz and Social evening was on Saturday 28th January. We had plenty of fun including Games, Quizzes and plenty of food! [Click HERE for further details]
